The Brazilian subsidiary of Amazon, the largest online store on the planet, began on Friday (7) the sale of physical products domestically. The Kindle electronic reader retailer, is the first non-digital product to be marketed by the company in Brazil.

The Kindle is available in three versions on Amazon. The simplest version goes for $ 299.00. The new model, dubbed the Kindle Paperwhite, is being sold for R $ 479.00, the version without 3G, and R $ 699.00 with 3G. All models have free shipping all over Brazil.

Since December 2012 in the country, the store remained for a year and two months activities only with sales of e-books and apps for Android. The Kindle, meanwhile, entered the Brazilian market at the same time, but was being sold, so far, only in specialty stores.

For now, there is no provision for the early marketing of books or other physical products on Amazon in Brazil.
