Amazon announced on Wednesday a new version of Kindle Paperwhite reader. The device is on sale at Amazon online store and resellers as the sites of Ponto Frio and Extra for $ 479.

The new version features screen with higher contrast and LED lighting, faster processor, battery life of up to eight weeks of regular reading and weighs only 213 grams. The Paperwhite Kindle has Wi-Fi connection and memory that can store up to 1000 books.
