To try to take the throne of the iPad tablet market the world’s bestselling, Amazon will bet on a combination of powerful hardware affordable in the new generation of Kindle tablets. Information obtained at BGR show that on benchmarks preliminary, new appliances company shows three times faster than the current generation.
According to “reliable sources” consulted by the site, the company is expected to launch three new versions of the device in the fall U.S. (our spring). The flagship should be the new Kindle Fire HD, which should have a 7-inch display with resolution 1920×1200 pixels coupled with powerful quad-core Snapdragon processor 800 running at a frequency of 2 GHz
product should follow a customized version of Android 4.2.2, 2GB of memory to handle heavy tasks, a front camera and WiFi connectivity (a version compatible with cellular networks should also be launched). According to BGR, you can choose to purchase the device with internal storage capacity of 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB.
The model 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD should have a similar hardware, which differs in the device screen resolution (2560×1600 pixels). Additionally, the product must incorporate a rear camera that should be absent from most compact model of the gadget.
Finally, Amazon should also introduce a new version of the Kindle Fire, which will feature the same 7-inch HD model. The main difference of the device is the fact that it must have a smaller amount of RAM – so far, little has been revealed about this specific model.
Besides having won in computational power, the new tablets are designed to be more comfortable and lighter than its predecessors. The expectation is that the products are officially unveiled by the company soon, though so far it has not made any official statement to that effect.
