Amazon to accept HTML5 apps for Kindle Fire - ZDNet (blog)

Amazon said it is offering tools to debug and monetize HTML5 apps. The tools include a Web App Tester, Which offers an environment to test applications. Also Amazon There’s an In-App Purchasing API for JavaScript.

Best practices are also available to walk developers through the submission process.

According to the company

HTML5 apps can run better on the Kindle Fire now because it’s based on the runtime based on the Chromium project.
