Thanks to anonymous sources, it seems that BGR got a list with detailed specifications of the new Kindle Fire, the tablet low cost of Amazon. Since it is the most basic model of the new generation of the Kindle Fire, the hardware of the device is not exactly impressive, but should be sufficient for most tasks.
Your chipset is the same of the first Kindle Fire HD with a OMAP4 4470 processor 1.5 GHz and a PowerVR SGX544 GPU, whereas the RAM should continue with only 1 GB. The result, according to prototype testing is two times better performance than the current model Fire common.
Although not as powerful in resolution as the HD version, the new Kindle Fire will also come with picture quality in HD, while offering only a resolution of 1280×800 pixels.
