SAN FRANCISCO – Amazon has expanded its range of Kindle electronic readers and tablets with the launch on Wednesday of new models including a new highlight: the Fire HDX, which, according to the company, has an impressive screen and sound Dolby Atmos.
The rear 8 MP camera allows high resolution photos and 1080p HD video. Besides being thinner than the Air and iPad have a higher pixel density, the tablet has a powerful 2.5 GHz processor speed and fluidity that allows use in games.

Amazon also presented other new models of tablets Fire HD screens with 6 or 7 inches and priced between $ 99 and $ 139, respectively.
“The Fire HD is the most powerful tablet with a price below $ 100,” Bezos said, noting that the device synchronizes with the huge library of digital content and services from Amazon.
The company based in Seattle also released a version of Fire HD tablet specially designed for children with benefits as a year of unlimited access to thousands of books, movies and games as well as free replacement in case of breakdown up to two years after your purchase.
Also presented was a new Kindle, the Voyage, billed as the thinner and more advanced version to date of the popular e-reader priced at $ 199, and an improved base model Kindle to $ 79.
The new offerings from Amazon were announced the same day that began to circulate rumors that Apple plans to launch new models in October iPads.
