New generation of Amazon's Kindle Fire may have better screen than the iPad - Globo.com

Amazon is planning a renovation of its Kindle Fire tablets for 2013, and some rumors about specifications began to emerge. The information refers to the three line models and are ambitious: the biggest one (and more expensive) could present a better screen than the iPad.

most basic tablet, the Kindle Fire will have a 7-inch screen with higher resolution from 1024 × 600 to 1280 × 800 pixels. The Fire HD 7 inch, in turn, will earn a resolution of 1920 × 1200. Already the largest model, the Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch will have a screen with 2560 × 1600 pixels, which would be a higher resolution than the Retina display iPad.

information also point to a new design, with the placement of the buttons to connect and no more volume on the side, but on a sloping area on the back that prevents accidental operation when the tablet is placed with the rear down . It is also expected that the new devices are much lighter than current versions.

For now, the information is just rumors, but it is expected that Amazon make an official announcement until the month of September.
