The Amazon and Editora Nova Fronteira will reward literary works unpublished in the category Fiction/Novel in the Award Kindle of Literature. The fictional narratives long can be classified into subcategories such as fantasy, science fiction, thriller, historical novel, among others. The winner will have the book published by New Frontier award in the amount of R$ 20 thousand. Applications go until the next November 30.
Authors who want to compete must publish on the Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), a tool for the self publishing of Amazon, unpublished works. The digital book must be enrolled in KDP Select, on an exclusive basis for 90 days from the date of publication. The hashtag #premiokindle should be included as the only keyword during the publishing process.
Ten books will be pre-selected. The jury will choose three works, the finalists and, among them, the Prize winning book Kindle of Literature 2016. The finalists will be the object of a special plan of marketing in the Kindle Store, on Amazon. The(a) author(a) winner(a) will have their book published by Editora Nova Fronteira (printed version), version of the audiobook by Audible, Inc., and you will receive a cash prize in the amount of R$ 20 thousand.
The 10 works of pre-selected will be announced on 12 December 2016. The 3 finalists will be announced on 9 January 2017, and the winner will be presented to the public at the awards event, on January 17, 2017.
