The evolution of the Kindle family – Newspapers Floripa

     original Kindle

Launched in 2007, the first version of the Kindle cost $ 399, had only 250 MB of internal storage and a 6-inch screen. It was the only one to bring an SD memory card slot.

With its electronic ink technology, which forms the words on the screen from electrical pulses, the device was responsible for revolutionizing the e-book industry.

Only five hours after its release, the device was already exhausted. The replacement took about five months to happen in April 2008.
