the Amazon is distributing a critical and mandatory installation update that is limited by 22 March. This upgrade applies to all devices manufactured by Amazon before 2012, and the alert is especially directed to those who do not use their e-book reader for some time.
If users do not update your Kindle Amazon says it will no longer be able to synchronize or access to books purchased in the cloud as well as other Internet services.
If the limit to update the Kindle is exceeded users will not be in possession of a useless equipment. The update can be made later, but in a somewhat more complicated by downloading the update file via a USB key in a procedure that Amazon shows here.
Among the models which update is necessary find
- Kindle 1st Generation (2007)
- Kindle 2nd Generation (2009)
- Kindle DX 2nd Generation (2009)
- Kindle Keyboard 3rd Generation (2010)
- Kindle 4th Generation (2011)
- Kindle 5th Generation (2012)
