Kindle Unlimited, the rental service of e-books from Amazon arrived in Brazil – Mobile Xpert

Last week Amazon Brazil took everyone by surprise by launching the Kindle Unlimited service in the country. If you do not know what it is, explained. The Kindle Unlimited was launched in June in the US and, for a monthly fee, allows you to read any book on any device or Kindle apps you have in your home. It works something like Netflix, only instead of movies and series, you have books. No wonder this service was dubbed the “Netflix of books.”

In the United States users pay $ 10 a month and can read as many books as you want. In Brazil, the Amazon fixed the monthly price of R $ 19.90 which, if converted, it’s cheaper than the monthly fee practiced in the land of Uncle Sam. And, as might be, you have a free trial period of 30 days before actually start paying for Kindle Unlimited. Amazon reports that more than 700,000 titles are available in the service. However, the vast majority is in English, with some titles in French, German and Spanish. Of these 700 000 books, only 12,000 are in Portuguese, among them we can mention all the Harry Potter saga, Diary of a Wimpy 1 and 2; The Chronicles of Ice and Fire; Politically Incorrect Guide to the History of Brazil and others.

In the beginning, however, the deals are few and little known publishers. All large and well-known publishers such as L & amp; PM, New Concept, Objective, Planet, Record, Rocco, Sextant, Companhia das Letras, Intrinsic and Ediouro not closed with Amazon. At least this early. The result is that none of the most popular books currently part of the Kindle Unlimited collection. Publishers who have partnered with Amazon, we can mention: People, Globe, LeYa, PandaBooks, Universe of Books, Vergara & amp; Riba (V & amp; R). And Zahar

The improvement thing if you master the English language, where the range of options is much higher, where we have the saga The Lord of the Rings; Hunger Games; 2001: A Space Odyssey; Stephen King short stories and a series of non-fiction books. To read a book on Kindle Unlimited, simply click the “Read for Free” button on the book of the purchase screen. Thus, it will be automatically downloaded to your device and will be available for reading. The “rented” books on Kindle Unlimited can be synchronized with up to 6 devices, so other Kindle devices, as PCs and gadgets running iOS or Android and are with the Kindle app installed.

There is no term “delivery” of the book . You can have it all you want. The only limitation is that you can only “rent” 10 books simultaneously. If you want to get more, will have to return one. But I think no one reads 10 books at a time, right? The trend is that the number of titles grows and the service becomes more attractive with the entry of major publishers.
