Kindle App for Windows 8 is updated to version 2.0.0 - Invision Power

Amazon launched the first version of its Kindle app for Windows 8 several months before Microsoft officially release the operating system. The latest update to the Kindle app was made in March, which added some small new features and enhancements.

Now Amazon has launched the latest version of the Kindle app for Windows 8, 2.0.0, via the Windows Store. She brings several new features. One of them is shown in the screenshot below, where the app now search for words or phrases within an eBook. This should facilitate the use of the application more useful for search purposes.

In addition, the new version allows users to experience recommended books, and there was a redesign of resources and Notes Bookmarking, adding filters to the mix. The home screen of the app was also redesigned, with navigation within the book. The application also has an easy way to mark pages, and Live Tile Kindle now displays the eBook that the current user is reading.
