New service lets you read Kindle books in the browser – Info Online

Amazon announced on Thursday (29) the official launch in Brazil of its online platform that lets you read Kindle books on Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Safari browsers. To access the page , you need to log in to the service called Kindle Cloud Reader to sync your entire library stored on the user account. The site also works on iPads.

The online version is similar to the Kindle mobile app functions. Ie, you can resume playback from where you stopped, highlight an excerpt from the book, add notes and look up words via the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F

All navigation on the Kindle Cloud Reader happens horizontally, like a book, turning the pages by clicking on arrows to the right or to the left. It is worth noting that there is a feature that allows the synchronization of a work for reading offline.

Although Amazon sells the Kindle for reading e-books purchased from its online store, the company also offers applications for Android and iOS devices where you can read the titles acquired. “Kindle Cloud Reader is another great step in our mission ‘Buy once, read anywhere’,” according to Alex Szapiro, national manager of Amazon.com. br.
