How to send PDF files to Kindle and convert to e-books? - Globo.com

An interesting feature of the Kindle is the ability to send PDF files using e-mail only. The TechTudo teaches how to convert the texts without downloading a specific program or use cables, for them to show on your Kindle as an e-book standard Amazon.

Step 1. Please login on the Amazon site. Then click on “Menu Kindle” and select “Manage Your Kindle”;

. In the side menu, click on “Personal Document Settings”. Here you see a list of emails already registered, you have the ending “@ kindle”. You can edit the user name to make it easier to remember later;

Step 3. At the bottom of the screen, go to the “List of approved emails to personal documents” and enter the email you will use to send PDF files. Note that there is a bar indicating how much space you have available in your account (up to 5GB). His books will be stored on Amazon’s servers, and may be deleted from your device and downloaded again;

Step 4. Now, just send an e-mail address ending with “@ kindle” (example: user @ kindle) you saw in Step 2. Place the attached PDF file and type in the Subject / Subject the word “convert” (in English even without the quotes).

Done! Now let your Kindle connected to the Wi-Fi network for the file to be downloaded on the device. It is the simplest way to convert your PDFs and take advantage of Amazon’s e-reader for reading.
