RIO – The Amazon.com.br opens on Thursday registrations for the first edition of Kindle Literature Prize, in partnership with the publisher New Frontier and intended for unpublished novels. The deadline is November 30, and the result will be announced on January 17, 2017. The winner will receive US $ 20,000 and will have their work published on paper by New Frontier. The idea of the organizers is unlike the traditional awards, including readers in choosing the winner.
To participate, authors should publish the unpublished text by self-publishing platform from Amazon, the Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) and put in the search field to #premiokindle hashtag. The KDP allows writers to choose from to cover the price. As competitors will be available online, readers can read them and give their opinions. This assessment will be taken into account in the pre-selection made by the organizers. A jury appointed by New Frontier will be responsible for choosing the three finalists and the winning work.
