The Bombers hosted one last home game before Their ultimate road trip and the MINK League playoffs.
Sedalia used Bombers alumni and current coaching staff to fill out the lineup in Their non-league matchup with the Kansas City Monarchs on Wednesday at Liberty Park in Sedalia.
Jud Kindle Bombers general manager and State Fair Community College head coach, got the start on the mound. He pitched a complete game in a 10-2 victory.
Cody Creed, assigned third-base coach and head coaching duties by default, said his pitcher Showed good command Despite lacking overwhelming velocity.
“He’s definitely throwing strikes and getting outs, and that’s all that matters,” Creed said.
