Although the iPad Air has fared well in most analyzes of critics in the United States, the newest tablet from Apple was overcome by HDX Kindle Fire in the item screen. According to analysis of DisplayMate Technologies, who analyzed the two models and 10 Nexus tablet, Google, Amazon’s tablet was named “the tablet with the best screen ever tested.”
The third generation tablet from Amazon, in its version of 8.9 inches, features improved brightness, contrast and color accuracy than iPad and Nexus Air 10. Furthermore, according to the analysis, the screen of the Kindle Fire has higher energy efficiency than its competitors. The analysis, however, also points out that the screens of iPad and Nexus Air bos 7 show results in brightness, contrast and color accuracy.
Among the analyzed tablets, the Kindle Fire HD also showed the density of 339 pixels per inch, the highest among the three tablets. In this analysis, the Nexus 10 was second with 300 pixels per inch, while the iPad Air had the lowest density, with 264 pixels per inch. However, the three results are considered excellent by the staff of DisplayMate.
In the overall analysis, despite showing good results, the Nexus tablet 10 lagged behind competitors in several categories. The reason, according to DisplayMate team, is the time of product launch, which should be replaced by a new version soon. The Kindle Fire and iPad HDX Air, by reaching the market more recently, has brought more advanced screen technologies.
